Chanel has unveiled its brand new Christmas and holiday beauty collection for 2022.
Available from 14 October, the luxury French fashion house has embraced a celestial theme for the festive season, calling the make-up collection 'Ask for the Moon'.
"In shadow and in light, in simplicity and in opulence, in shades of amber, red and gold, the moon becomes intertwined with legend in a modern-day fairy-tale," described Chanel.
"The eyes, cheeks, lips, and nails take on a celestial shimmer. The skin is enveloped in fabulous, scented oils studded with golden and pearlescent particles."
The latest collection includes two new illuminating face powders, the Eclat Lunaire Oversize, in two shades and embossed with the brand's iconic No 5 Parfum bottle on a lunar surface.
Les 4 Ombres, Ombres Des Lune, is a new eyeshadow quad featuring warm matte and pearlescent shades.

The eye gloss Duo Lumiere, meanwhile, is described as a transparent gel formula flecked with gold and copper to add a soft touch of light to the eyes.
Three new mineral-inspired nail polish shades will be released, including Super Lune, a brownish red; Clair de Lune, a gold khaki, and Étoile, a shimmering amber top coat.
Chanel has expanded its refillable Rouge Allure range for the holiday collection by releasing four new shades in red, brown and rosewood tones.
Fans of Chanel's fragrances will also be able to purchase two limited edition body products featuring the brand's signature scents.
Described as a 'shower of scented stars', the No 5 Gold Body Oil contains pearlescent gold sparkles to add a subtle shimmer on the skin.
Coco Mademoiselle Pearl Body Gel, meanwhile, is an iridescent water-based gel to leave the skin fresh and scented.
