Burberry makes the Dow Jones Sustainability Index

Brand is added to the list for the first time

British brand Burberry has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices for the first time this year. The listing recognises Burberry as one of the most sustainable companies in the Consumer Durables & Apparel sector.

Christopher Bailey, Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer at Burberry, said: "It is a great honour to be included in the 2015 Dow Jones Sustainability Index. The Dow Jones Sustainability Index has been running for 16 years and is now recognised as a trusted benchmark for sustainable business practices. It tracks the performance of the top 10% of the 2,500 largest companies in the S&P Global Broad Market IndexSM.
