Avon appoints Brian Salsberg to develop its global strategic growth plan

Avon Products, Inc. has appointed Brian Salsberg as Senior Vice President, Global Strategy, effective 23 September. He will be responsible helping define and develop the global strategic growth plan for the company, reporting to Avon CEO Sheri McCoy. He will also join the company's Executive Committee and will work with the committee to expand Avon's capabilities on key issues including its future business model and optimal geographic footprint.

Salsberg joins Avon from McKinsey & Company Inc., where he was a partner and most recently served as a co-leader of the firm's consumer and retail practice in Asia.
