Stepbrothers aim to raise £100k for the British Skin Foundation in memory of their father

AproDerm, the UK emollient skin care brand, is sponsoring two men to row the Atlantic Ocean in January 2018.

Stepbrothers Greg Bailey, 26, and Jude Massey, 18, have received £15,000 from the Fontus Health-owned brand, based in Walsall in the West Midlands of England.

The self-dubbed Ocean Brothers aim to raise £100k for the British Skin Foundation in memory of their father Peter Massey, who passed away in August 2015 after a 16-year battle with skin cancer.

Bailey and Massey said: “We are incredibly grateful to AproDerm and Fontus Health for this generous donation towards our fundraising challenge.

“After seeing Peter suffer for such a long time, we really want to make a difference by funding skin cancer research, so other families don’t have the same sad experience we did. The money that AproDerm are donating goes a long way to helping us achieve that goal.”

Daljit Birdi, Managing Director of Fontus Health, added: “We’re really proud that AproDerm and Fontus Health can support Greg and Jude on this mammoth fundraiser.

“We wish them the best of luck on the Atlantic crossing and we’re committed to supporting them all the way. Together we can all help in the fight against skin cancer.”
