Beauty influencer Ethan Is Supreme, born Ethan Peters, has passed away at the age of 17.

More than 139,000 YouTube users subscribe to the MUA’s video channel, while his Instagram following amasses 540k.

Peters was known for his avant-garde make-up looks and comical YouTube videos.

Friend and fellow influencer Ava Louise took to social media to announce his death, which is reported to be from an overdose.

“This right here is my best friend in the entire world,” she wrote.

“He was the only person I spoke to for months. I was all alone and struggling and Ethan inspired me again. He was here with me for my birthday 2 weeks ago and I’m so thankful I got to spend it with him.”

She added: “Ethan fucking Peters I’m gunna make sure you legacy lives on you were meant for so much, the smartest teenager I knew.”

In a string of Tweets, the 22-year-old addressed issues with addiction and asked reporters to post resources to addiction when covering Peters’ passing.

“Ethan had an addiction and addiction should not be shamed,” she said.

“I’m openly discussing his cause of death to save the next kid from a perc.”

‘Perc’ commonly refers to the percocet prescription group of drugs, containing opioid, that can help to relieve moderate to severe pain.

Peters worked with brands including Lady Gaga’s Haus Laboratories and on make-up looks for Ariana Grande.

Make-up influencer and entrepreneur Jeffree Star responded to Peters’ passing via his Instagram channel.
