Beauty and personal care development company Batallure Beauty has announced the formation of a new beauty company that will develop, market and distribute a number of major beauty brand fragrances – including the Olsen twins' brand Elizabeth and James.
The newly formed Butterfly Beauty will look after the global distribution of Batallure Beauty brands Derek Lam, Derek Lam 10 Crosby, Elizabeth and James, and Robert Graham.
Butterfly Beauty will manage the distribution of Elizabeth and James fragrances in partnership with Kendo Beauty, an LVMH company that focuses on the development of brands. Butterfly Beauty will start distributing the Elizabeth and James NIRVANA fragrances in late 2015 and early 2016, however, distribution by Sephora will continue to be managed by Kendo.
Working on new projects, Butterfly Beauty will launch a Derek Lam 10 Crosby fragrance and a Robert Graham men’s fine fragrance collection in early spring 2016.
Ginny Wright has been named as General Manager of Butterfly Beauty. Wright has worked at L’Oréal USA for more than six years where she worked with L’Oréal Luxe’s designer brands including Viktor & Rolf and Diesel. The announcement of the formation of Butterfly Beauty was made by Co-founders Robin Burns-McNeill and Sam Ghusson.
