A new digital platform has launched to help customers suffering from acne.
The dermatology service Dermatica is said to offer tailored skin care advice and treatment plans for affordable products to treat acne, pigmentation and signs of ageing from its team of consultant dermatologists, pharmacists and GPs.
To use the service, customers can visit dermatica.co.uk and fill out a questionnaire before receiving their personalised treatment plan, which is said to arrive the next day.
Prices for the monthly subscription service start from £19.99 and customers can benefit from a 30-day money back guarantee.
The platform was founded by Cambridge University graduate Dwayne D’Souza who also started the MedExpress Group after moving away from a career in investment banking.
Last March, the NHS stopped prescribing for mild acne, which has been the catalyst for a number of online acne treatment services to launch; including from Boots, LloydsPharmacy and Superdrug.
Despite this, Reportlinker has revealed the prevalence of acne across the globe is forecast to decline between 2017 and 2026, due to the increase in elderly population and new treatment approaches.
