Dermatica is breaking into hair and scalp care with the launch of a hair loss treatment service aimed at women.

The personalised skin care service has developed a new clinician-prescribed treatment plan to address hair thinning, which is said to promote fuller, stronger hair in three-to-six months.

As part of the new service, a daily scalp serum and monthly treatment plan will be available via the platform after submitting images and answering questions.

This is then followed by an online consultation with a dermatologist.

Regular check-ins on progress, as well as 24/7 support offering advice related to side effects or general routine and treatment, will also form part of the service.

“Since 2018 our dermatology team has supported customers with their skin, and we know how valuable this is in a country where access to dermatologists is very limited,” Harriet Davis, Senior Brand Manager at Dermatica, told Cosmetics Business.
