NARS Cosmetics has recently announced the opening of two new flagship US stores in New York and Las Vegas. The 1,200sqft Las Vegas retail space is the brand’s sixth free standing boutique and is located at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, while in New York the new 700sqft store is located at 971 Madison Avenue.
Both boutiques feature sharp lines and modern amenities with a sleek design conceived by founder and Creative Director François Nars, in conjunction with Fabien Baron of New York design firm Baron & Baron.
Features at the Las Vegas store include a technique-focused sales area that houses a curated product collection, with NARS artists and interactive digital touchscreens for customers to learn signature complexion and cheek techniques. Customers will also have the chance to “spin to win” a deluxe sample on the digital slot machine which has been specially created for this boutique.
In addition, the New York space houses a floor-to-ceiling glass cube which acts as the centrepiece of the space and can be used for installations and projections. To add to the luxurious feel, the entry door and display windows are surrounded with marble.
Both boutiques feature elevated mirror podiums that showcase the latest launches and featured products and will have makeup artists personally trained by François Nars. There will be four permanent makeup stations in the Madison Avenue location and six in Las Vegas.
