Ashley Strong, the winner of James Charles’ ‘Instant Influencer’ competition, has landed a marketing deal with colour cosmetics brand Morphe for its festive collection.
The Alaska-based influencer was crowned winner of the YouTube beauty challenge in May this year, seeing off competition from Benny Cerra and Kailin Chase, and taking home a US$50,000 cash prize.
Since her win, she has been catapulted to stardom with more than 800k followers on her Instagram and an ambassador deal with Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty.
In her role for Morphe, Ashley appears in the campaign for the brand’s Holiday Capsule Collection, with a 35-pan palette as the hero sku (pictured).
The Natural Flirt palette comprises shimmer and matte shades in light and deep pinks, and browns, as well as neutrals and plums.
For eyes and face, the brand has also introduced its Eye & Face Shimmer quartet, available in Bronze, Champagne, Gold and Berry, and a trio of faux eyelashes.
The two new Out & A Pout trios include a matte lipstick, lip gloss and colour pencil, and completing the line is Morphe’s Brush Lust set, a ten-piece brush eye brush collection, and setting sprays.
The products retail from £18 and are available to shop in Morphe stores and online.
