Market research and intelligence specialist, Mintel has announced a new patent analysis partnership with Cipher, which it says will provide an early warning system of new developments for the consumer packaged goods market.
Using Cipher’s AI intelligence to analyse patents globally, it will be able to predict trends and developments earlier and more accurately across the beauty, personal care, food and drink markets, according to the company.
As part of the partnership, Mintel will publish regular insights into what companies are starting to invest in and where new technologies are being developed to address consumer needs.
