Neiman Marcus, the US department store chain, has unveiled a Maison Francis Kurkdjian fragrance pop-up in time for Christmas.
The winter wonderland themed pop-up, called Merry Go-Round the World!, is inspired by the brand's holiday campaign which focuses on a "dream-like world that brings back childhood memories of funfair and holiday markets".
The luxury retailer debuted the pop-up in its Northpark, Texas, store in November and will roll-out the concept across multiple Neiman Marcus locations including Beverly Hills, Houston Galleria and Orlando throughout the festive period.
The concept, created by the French perfume brand's founder Francis Kurkdjian, is of a fictional globetrotting ice skater, who starts in Paris, Kurkdjian’s home town.
The pop-up features Parisian style decor and includes references to London, New York Shanghai, Moscow.
"In the maison's campaign, our Parisian ice-skater's journey around the world starts from and arrives at his hometown," said Kurkdjian.
"Paris is my home and an endless source of inspiration for me and of course the Maison.”
Consumers can shop the full holiday collection by Maison Francis Kurkdjian including three limited edition candles: Mon beau Sapin, Pain d’épices and Pomme d’amour.
Maison Francis Kurkdjian is also offering exclusive services at its Neiman Marcus locations for the festive period and shoppers can purchase personalised products from the holiday collection.
Neiman Marcus was the first retailer in the US to carry the luxury fragrance house in 2009.
In 2017, LVMH acquired a majority stake in the French independent perfume house which was said to be a reflection of the strength of the niche fragrance market at the time.
