Chanel has appointed Lucia Pica as its Creative Designer of Make-up and Colour.
Making her debut as a make-up artist, Pica previously worked for Charlotte Tilbury and House of Holland. She has also worked for fashion houses including Elie Saab, Giorgio Armani and Louis Vuitton.
Prior to Pica, Peter Philips held the role at Chanel, moving on to Dior earlier this year. In the interim, Tom Pecheaux has headed up make-up at Chanel.
Pica's new responsibilities include designing new make-up collections for Chanel and creating beauty looks for the catwalk.
