IFF ingredients business Lucas Meyer scooped gold awards for the Innovation Zone Best Active Ingredient and Best Functional Ingredient at in-cosmetics Asia 2015. The company's Exo-P was awarded Best Active Ingredient, described as a patented ingredient to rapidly improve asphyxiated and dull skin for a luminous and healthy looking complexion, and to provide a biomimetic shield against urban pollution and smog, according to Lucas Meyer.
Meanwhile, the company’s Happiness in a Jar concept won Best Functional ingredient. The concept features the company's Lecigel ingredient, which is said to use techniques developed by specialists in neuroscience and psychology to scientifically measure the pleasure the ingredient produces upon application.
