Look Good Feel Better has defended its campaign after it was accused of gifting cancer patients cosmetics that could be harming their recovery and even causing cancer.
US charity group Breast Cancer Action (BCA) launched the “Poison Isn’t Pretty” campaign last week, asking the American Cancer Society (ACS) and the Personal Care Products Council (PCPC) to stop including cosmetics with potentially harmful ingredients in their Look Good Feel Better kits.
Look Good Feel Better has rejected its accusations and industry bodies in the UK and US have backed-up their rebuttal.
