Customers can now shop the must-have beauty shades from Little Mix band member Jade Thirlwall, thanks to a collaboration with cosmetics seller and creator Beauty Bay.
The new 42-shade palette (£30) is a combination of 24 mattes and 18 shimmers that are said to be a representation of the pop star's passion for crystals and astrology.
According to the brand, Thirlwall wanted to include a variety of colours that can be used on their own or blended together, encouraging users to be more experimental with their make-up looks.
Colours in the palette include bright and bold pinks, reds, blues and greens, as well as neutral golds and silvers.
“I’m over the moon to have created this palette with Beauty Bay,” said the band member.
“I’ve always been a huge fan of Beauty Bay and their eyeshadow formula from when I’ve worked with make-up artists over the years.
“I know that together we could create my dream palette, something which my fans can use to create out of this world lewks.
“All 42 shades have been lovingly created to represent my passion for crystals, spirituality, astrology and believing that the universe has a gorgey path for all of us. [sic]
“From coming up with shades and giving them the perfect names, creating this cosmic palette has been such a magical experience.”
The shade name ‘What’s your sign hun?’ is a copper gold shimmer, and a play on the singer’s Geordie roots, while ‘Nefertiti’, a brown matte colour, gives a nod to Thirlwall’s Egyptian heritage.
“‘Orion’, a khaki matte, is the name of the original girl group I was part of with Leigh-Anne before we were Little Mix,” she continued.
“It’s a fond memory for me and really important on my journey to being part of Little Mix.
“Leigh-Anne will love this one, her favourite colour is green so I had to name it Orion for her.”
Thirlwall formerly joined forces with Unilever’s Simple, along with her brand members, in an attempt to stamp out cyber bullying.
Prior to that, the British girl band embarked on its make-up journey in 2018, with their LMX by Little Mix range.
Working with cosmetics manufacturer SLG, the limited edition skus included highlighters, palettes and matte lipsticks.
“Like Beauty Bay, Jade is beauty obsessed and loves to push boundaries and create the unexpected with everything she does,” added Beauty Bay’s Chief Executive David Gabbie.
“A global pop star with her pulse on emerging trends, we were drawn to working with Jade because she is an incredibly talented artist with a huge interest in beauty, but also she is an icon for self acceptance and self-love.
“We hope that the creativity that Jade has poured into the palette will inspire our community and Little Mix fans to create their own unique looks.”
