LipoTrue has announced that it has joined the UN Global Compact, a voluntary initiative focused on corporate social responsibility (CSR). This means they are committed to following 10 internationally recognised principles related to human rights, labor, environment, and anti-bribery, as set by the Global Compact. They also align their company goals with the 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs)
established by the UN.
The Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact provide a common ethical and practical framework for businesses to be more sustainable in their strategies and operations. These principles are derived from UN Declarations and Conventions and represent the core values that businesses should integrate into their daily practices.
The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have a different but closely related purpose for businesses. They are at the center of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and represent ambitious long-term targets for creating a better world. Governments, businesses, and other stakeholders work together to achieve these goals and improve the well-being of people and the planet.
By adhering to both the Ten Principles and the SDGs, LipoTrue is equipped with the right values and vision to contribute meaningfully to society and the environment.
