Often overlooked in skin and body care routines, hands are now moving into the spotlight, with more consumers upgrading their treatments to the latest tech-forward launches.

Advanced light therapy treatments specifically targeting the hands have become an area of new product development for technology and body care brands over the past year. The treatments are designed to offer professional-grade results at home, and make luxury hand care more accessible and convenient.

Margaret Dabbs OBE, founder of Margaret Dabbs London explains: “Hands often show the first signs of ageing, and as we all become more conscious of the need to care for our skin, it’s only natural that people are dedicating more time to hand care. The skin on our hands is thinner and more delicate, making it particularly vulnerable to environmental damage, pigmentation, and wrinkles.”

As awareness of overall skin health increases, people are realising that hands need the same level of care and attention as their faces, says Dabbs: “This growing awareness has led to a rise in innovation and demand for targeted solutions, with LED technology becoming an exciting area of development. As people look for visible, results-driven treatments, hand-focused LEDs offer an effective, science-led way to rejuvenate and protect this often-overlooked area.”
