L’Occitane do Brasil, the Brazilian subsidiary of French cosmetics group L’Occitane, has announced the construction of its first factory in Brazil.

It expects to perform the cornerstone ceremony in September and for the factory to begin production in 2019.

The new plant will be located in the city of Itupeva (São Paulo), close to the group’s existing distribution centre.

It will be huge, at 23,000sqm and will focus on producing the L’Occitane au Brésil product lines.
