Kylie Cosmetics' new Gloss Drip lip gloss has completely sold out within 24 hours of being launched.
The Lip Gloss and Gloss Balm duo became available to buy in the US on 6 July, after being teased to the public by model and beauty influencer Kylie Jenner over two weeks ago.
The Gloss Drip, which retails for RRP US$16, is currently listed as out of stock on Jenner's brand website.
A bundle version featuring all four shades of the lip gloss, which was sold at a discounted price of RRP US$57, has also been snapped up by fans of the social media star.
The lip and cheek Glow Balm is, however, still available to purchase, and retails for RRP $17.
The new products are currently only available in the US, but are slated for a UK launch at a later unconfirmed date.
Kylie Cosmetics is part-owned by Coty and was established in 2014 when Jenner was just 17 years old.
Selling out
Jenner isn’t the only celebrity to see make-up and skin care product launches sell out within hours of launching them to the public.
Hailey Bieber, the model and wife of Justin Bieber officially launched her long awaited skin care brand Rhode in June, with the majority of the range selling out on the release day.
At the time of writing, customers must still join a waiting list to get a chance at ordering Rhode’s Peptide Glazing Fluid, Barrier Restore Cream or Peptide Lip Treatment.
Earlier this year, TV sensation Kim Kardashian launched her skin care brand, SKKN, which also gained a lot of attention from fans of the model.
SKKN by Kim released its range under beauty company Coty, and its products are being sold through a US direct-to-consumer website.
Other celebrity cosmetic launches this year include Gwen Stefani’s new GXVE brand, and Hollywood megastar Scarlett Johansson, which entered the beauty sphere with the launch of The Outset.
