Kao taps Estée Lauder Companies executive as Molton Brown marketing chief

Laura Hogan will oversee the British heritage fragrance and body care brand’s brand vision and integrated marketing strategy across international markets

Kao has named Laura Hogan CMO of heritage British fragrance and body care brand Molton Brown.

Hogan joins the Kao-owned company from Estée Lauder Companies (ELC), where she spent nine years in senior marketing and brand leadership roles, most recently serving as Brand General Manager UK and Ireland for fragrance brands Le Labo, Killian Paris and Frédéric Malle.

The senior marketer has also worked across ELC beauty brands Jo Malone London – where she was a key stakeholder in the fragrance brand’s ambassador campaign fronted by actor Tom Hardy – Tom Ford Beauty, Bobbi Brown and Too Faced.

At Molton Brown, Hogan will lead the brand vision, positioning and integrated marketing strategy to strengthen its business across international markets and support growth.

She will oversee teams across brand and product development, visual merchandising, store design, digital marketing and creative services.
