Julia Goldin, Revlon’s Global Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President, has left the company “to pursue other opportunities”, said the firm.
She officially quit on 31 January. Both Goldin and Revlon have so far been unavailable for comment.
Goldin joined Revlon in September 2010 with the aim of building sales for the company, and she also had the express aim of building the firm’s presence in China – a market that Revlon recently announced it would be leaving. In the second half of 2012, Revlon’s business in China began to slow down in tune with the economy, and the company began reducing inventory.
Goldin’s vacant post at Revlon will be filled temporarily by Javier Asarta, Chief Marketing Officer of the Professional business that Revlon acquired from Colomer in October 2013.
