Jeen International has appointed Eva-Maria Harthaus as Marketing Services Manager.
She will be responsible for all brand marketing, media and communication for the specialty chemical manufacturer.
Harthaus said: “I’m thrilled to join the company and to be working for Mr Babik.
“Jeen is in a state of exponential growth right now so it’s an exciting time to join the company. It is is a wonderful company with exciting products.”
She joins as the New Jersey-based company plans to expand its team.
For now Harthaus has said her priority is improving the perception of the company and building its PR credibilities.
“I hope to help build a better branding image for Jeen by updating their look and getting Jeen’s name out in the press more,” she said.
Harthaus started her marketing career with personal care ingredients supplier Lipo Chemicals, before moving on to Arch Personal Care Products then Kline & Company.
She will be joining Jeen International after almost three years as a freelance marketing professional and graphic designer.

Established in 1996, the company provides specialty chemicals to the cosmetic, personal care, fragrance and pharmaceutical industries.
The manufacturer is a member of the Personal Care Products Council, the Society of Cosmetic Chemists and the Sales Association of the Chemical Industry.
Some key beauty ingredients that Jeen International supplies include thickeners, botanical extracts, quaternary compounds and natural oils.
It has also supplied patented, advanced specialty silicone, linear polyethylene.
Its most recent developments include a series of Cold Water Dispersible Waxes and the Jeesperse CPW line.
