The ‘Midnight Sun’ singer confirmed during a radio interview that there has been much talk around the potential release of a cosmetics brand by Larsson in partnership with her make-up artist, Sophia Sinot

Zara Larsson could be the next celebrity to enter beauty as the singer teases the launch of her own make-up brand.

Singer Larsson, who is known for her maximalist make-up looks created by MUA Sophia Sinot, confirmed during an interview with British radio station Capital FM that the pair have had conversations around the potential launch of a cosmetics product line.

The ‘Lush Life’ and ‘Midnight Sun’ singer was asked by presenter Jimmy Hill if she was planning to launch a make-up line, citing fellow singers-turned-founders Selena Gomez (Rare Beauty) and Lady Gaga (Haus Labs) as successful founders to follow in the footsteps of.

Larsson responded: “I feel like it would make sense.

“We are actually talking about it.

“Nothing has really happened so far, if I am being honest, but obviously me and Sophia – Sophia Sinot who does all my looks – we have spoken about it.

“And she… that is like her dream, you know?

“She is an artist in her craft and the way she does my face, I have tried to and I cannot replicate it.

“She knows exactly what she wants, she knows how to do it, she knows what type of product she would like, so if I would do something…

“That is what I like about Lady Gaga’s brand.

“I feel like it is a collaboration with her and her make-up artist and I feel like that would be something I would be really interested in.”

Larsson is not alone in wanting to enter beauty.

American rapper Cardi B has just entered the market with the launch of her hair care brand, Grow Good Beauty.
