Interpolymer launches new polymers at in-cosmetics

Published: 8-Apr-2011

Interpolymer this year participated for the ninth time at in-cosmetics. The company attracted a large number of visitors at the French pavilion Ubifrance and was able to introduce its major water-based specialty acrylic polymers for personal care formulations.

Among the products on display were: Syntran PC 5330, a new cationic polymer for hair colour retention. Being based on olefin-graft technology, this polymer acts to inhibit the migration of molecules in and out of the hair shaft and thus impede the process of dye loss. Also presented at the show were Syntran PC 5775 and 5760-CG, paraben-free latest generation film-forming polymers of offering adhesion, smoothness, gloss and water resistance. These polymers improve the performance of eyeliner, mascara, foundation and other film-forming cosmetics and were well received by customers.

Interpolymer also showcased speciality polymers for skin-care: Syntran PC 5100-CG, which offers fast acting skin tightening properties, and Syntran PC 5500, which imparts a silky soft and smooth feeling to skin.

Interpolymer says in-cosmetics once again gave the company an opportunity to make some great connections in a short time, meeting both existing and potential new customers.

Interpolymer has locations in France, Germany, the US and China.
