Fragrance manufacturer Inter Parfums has announced it expects its business to grow in 2010, following the release of initial guidance, which calls for net sales of $444m, up from projected turnover in 2009.
Jean Madar, Inter Parfums chairman and ceo noted the improved economic climate was largely responsible for the guidance. He also outlined intentions to grow the Burberry brand next year with the launch of a new selective cosmetics line for women, which will be available in “30 or 40 shops around the world”, as well as the signing of a new prestige brand fragrance license early next year.
“The launch of the Burberry cosmetics line is an important step to reach new consumers and increase Inter Parfums exposure worldwide, which will build the foundation for further growth in years to come,” he said.
