in-cosmetics Milan on track for record show
Exhibitor numbers for 2011 already close to 2010 show
Exhibitor numbers for the 2011 in-cosmetics exhibition are already close to the figures for this year’s 20th anniversary show, with six months to go until doors open, according to organisers Reed Exhibitions.
The show, to be held at Milan’s Fiera Milano Rho exhibition centre from 29-31 March, 2011 already has 500 exhibitors registered with more expected. The exhibitor mix includes raw materials and ingredients suppliers, research laboratories, software providers, industry associations and leading publications including SPC. There will be newcomers from China, Italy, India and South Korea, according to Reed.
Highlights will include the in-focus feature, which next year will follow the theme, ‘Sustainable Beauty’ and will showcase a range of eco-designed prototypes, said to define the core principles of sustainable development in the beauty industry. Joining in-focus will be regular attractions including the Innovation Zone, and a number of workshops, scientific and regulatory seminars, and marketing trends presentations.
New for 2011 is Connect, an on-line community tool which will provide exhibitors and pre-registered visitors with a diary, a detailed search facility and an integrated e-mail system to help network and arrange meetings. Users will be able to create a personal profile and save information about the show to their favourites.
“With so many key industry participants attending the show, in-cosmetics has become a must attend event within the personal care industry calendar, offering a crucial insight into scientific advances, emerging markets and an unrivalled educational programme,” commented exhibition director, Lucy Gillam. “The event is on target to deliver yet another successful show.”
