Hilfiger sails uncharted waters with new scent

To mark the recent release of Tommy Hilfiger\'s latest fragrance for men, the brand has joined forces with adventurers Alex Psaroudakis and Taru Tuomi to sponsor a six-month sailing trip entitled ôThe Freedom Tour.ö


To mark the recent release of Tommy Hilfiger's latest fragrance for men, the brand has joined forces with adventurers Alex Psaroudakis and Taru Tuomito sponsor a six-month sailing trip entitled "The Freedom Tour."

The trip will see Psaroudakis and Tuomi set sail from the Caribbean island of Mustique, before sailing to Colombia, the San Blas Island, Panama and eventually through the South Pacific Ocean. Followers can keep track of the journey via the Tommy Hilfiger Facebook page, which will include regular updates on the adventurers'' progress.

The new Freedom fragrance, produced under licensee Estee Lauder's Aramis and Designer Fragrances division, is said to pay homage to the brand's long-time use of nautical inspirations.

"I have always been inspired by the nautical life, and I have great admiration for those who embrace it. It's rare to have the courage to, literally and figuratively, set sail and live your dream," said Tommy Hilfiger.
