Beauty brand Helena Rubinstein has named Academy Award-winning actress Michelle Yeoh as its latest brand ambassador.
The Everything Everywhere All at Once star’s first campaign with the brand will debut next month, with details yet to be revealed.
The L'Oréal-owned brand said Yeoh “embodies the brand's values of determination, self-belief, audacity and resilience”, with her experiences said to mirror that of eponymous brand founder Helena Rubinstein.
The Polish-American entrepreneur pioneered beauty innovations including the concept of skin types and the world’s first waterproof mascara.
“There is something very natural and obvious for me to join a brand that celebrates the unparalleled strength and radiant confidence that lies within every woman," said Yeoh.
"Madame Rubinstein chose her own destiny, and she achieved things no one would have believed possible. Her story resonates with me.”
The 61-year-old rose to fame with roles in films including Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Memoirs of a Geisha.
She went on to make history in 2022 as the first Asian woman to win the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in Everything Everywhere All at Once.
Yeoh is no stranger to a beauty campaign, having starred as the face of skin care brand La Mer in 2023.
She was also previously an ambassador for luxury beauty brand Guerlain in 2011.
