Health fears spark new rules over use of nine hair colourants

Nine hair colourants ingredients have had limitations set on their use by the European Commission, due to concerns over genotoxicity, carcinogenicity and skin irritation. The substances, where used in products for the hair or eyelashes, now must also have specific wording on the packet.
