Harry Styles’ beauty brand Pleasing has launched a new candle collection based on the scents of its recent sex-inspired fragrance range.
The trio of candles, which share the same names as its perfume counterparts, Rivulets, Closeness and Bright, Hot, were created by French fragrance house Robertet.
Formulated using a soy wax blend, the candles are housed in a keepsake glass bowl inspired by the colours of its corresponding fragrance bottle.
For Closeness, Australian pink pepper extract, cardamom and clean sheets accord form the scent’s top notes.
This has been combined with orris butter, carrot seed and bamboo, with salted musk, Indian papyrus and cashmere woods rounding off the base.
Bright, Hot, meanwhile, focuses on a woody, amber scent created from plum and tobacco leaves.
Orris butter and marine accord form the mid notes, while cedarwood, tonka bean, vanilla and crisp amber make up the fragrance’s base.
Rivulets rounds off the collection with a floral and fresh amber scent.
Ambrette seed, set against lemon and black pepper Madagascar, has been combined with white linen accord and poplin blossom.
The candle range expands on the launch of Pleasing's highly-anticipated fragrance collection in November.
The three genderless scents were formulated to evoke the “comforting warmth of a second-skin”.
Shaun Kearney, the former Chief Designer for Goop, is said to have helped influence the range, with the production being handled by Robertet.
Kearny was appointed as CEO for Pleasing in July this year, after six years at Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle brand.
He was also the creative lead behind Goop’s polarising This Smells like my Vagina scented candle range.
