The guest amenity company will expand its Lyon factory to 5,200sqm

Groupe GM, the guest amenity company, has invested millions of euros in the expansion of its Groupe GM Cosmétiques plant in Lyon, France.

The factory, which manufactures amenities for hotels in more than 70 countries, will be extended this summer to 5,200sqm.

Groupe GM plans to buy nine new machines to advance the plant’s production capabilities, bringing the total to 31 machines.

“The expansion of our Groupe GM Cosmétiques France factory in Lyon is an important investment for Groupe GM as it responds to the growing demand for our products”, said Laurent Marchand, President of Groupe GM.

“In the future, these investments will enable Groupe GM to have sufficient production capabilities and grow our company’s position as a leading amenity brand.

"Our priority is to develop partnerships with new brands and international chains, but also with new agents and distributors. We are looking forward to the new opportunities that await our group in the very near future.”

Meanwhile, the employee count will reach 100 by the summer, with new roles being created to help with the plant’s transformation.
