Glenn Close and Venus Williams join Charlize Theron as Dior Capture ambassadors

The new campaign is said to reflect the diversity and strength of modern feminity

Dior has unveiled its revamped Capture skin care line for 2025.

The new campaign features a roster of ambassadors, ranging from Hollywood icons to international changemakers, which Dior says were all chosen to reflect the diversity and strength of modern femininity.

In a statement the brand said: “Dior Capture expresses all the strength of women around the world, whatever their backgrounds, their stories and their life choices.”

According to Dior, the Capture line, which has been a cornerstone of the fashion house’s skin care portfolio for nearly 40 years, has always aimed to provide more than just youthful skin. 

It carries a message of empowerment, spotlighting women who have not only mastered their respective fields but also use their platforms to drive meaningful change.

The campaign, which was shot by photographer Brigitte Lacombe, enlists six women who the brand believes possess all the qualities needed.

These include Hollywood veteran Glenn Close who has a career spanning five decades and numerous Oscar nominations. 

She also advocates for mental health through her non-profit Bring Change to Mind.

Former supermodel turned actress Laetitia Casta is also one of the ambassadors chosen by Dior. 

Casta is known for her activism, serving as a UNICEF ambassador and a voice for children’s rights.

Also making the line-up is actress Rosamund Pike, best known for her roles in movies such as Gone Girl and TV show The Wheel of Time

One of Bollywood’s most recognisable faces, Sonam Kapoor, was also a perfect fit for Dior. 

Tennis legend Venus Williams will also bring her trailblazing spirit to the campaign. 

An advocate for equality, Williams heads multiple business ventures, from wellness to design.

Lastly, Chinese artist and dancer Xin Liu adds her spirit to the campaign.

Representing the younger generation, she is known for blending traditional culture with modern pop in her work. 

By choosing ambassadors with impactful stories, the brand said it seeks to inspire confidence in women of all backgrounds. 

In a release, Dior added: “Their beliefs and their vision of beauty combined with the path to fulfilment each of them has chosen, filled with life-changing moments that allowed them to assert themselves.”
