Giorgio Armani Beauty has been named the main sponsor for the 76th Venice International Film Festival.
The brand, owned by L’Oreal, is the beauty arm of luxury fashion house Giorgio Armani, and will celebrate 20 years in the industry next year.
Last year, it was named the official beauty sponsor for the prestigious event, while Lexus landed the main sponsorship deal.
As part of the collaboration, Giorgio Armani Beauty will provide official make-up services for guests as well as a brand display for delegates.
It will also launch a limited edition version of its Lip Maestro product.
The partnership also marks founder Giorgio Armani’s involvement in the film industry.
Throughout his career he has designed costumes for films including the Batman series, The Wolf of Wall Street, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and The Untouchables.
The brand tapped acclaimed actors Cate Blanchet and Ryan Reynolds to front its marketing campaigns.
The industry’s royalty will be invited to attend the event from 28 August to 7 September 2019.
