Companies rely on EcoVadis to provide comprehensive sustainability reports that accurately benchmark their overall performance and to inform about their sustainability strategies. Participants can encourage transparency by sharing this information with stakeholders and utilise it to inform sustainability strategies.
The reports focus on four main categories, which together provide an overall score. In its sector, GEKA ranked among the top 1% of companies for Labor & Human Rights in addition to the top 2% for Environment and Sustainable Procurement (both up from the top 6% in 2021).
Oliver Vogel, Head of GEKA, said: “Annually benchmarking our sustainability efforts with EcoVadis is a key aspect of our wider strategy. We want to deliver innovative cosmetic solutions that don’t compromise the beauty of our planet. Our noticeable improvement in the Environment and Sustainable Procurement categories illustrates how we are continuously working on optimising our sustainability. I would like to thank everyone for their efforts in this regard.”
