British department store House of Fraser has signed a retail deal with Swedish brand Foreo, amid recent news that it is to close more than half of its UK stores.
Set to be stocked from August, the brand’s UFO masking device is designed to stimulate collagen production, even skin tone and brighten the complexion.
Combining LED, thermo and gyro-therapy with T-sonic pulsations it is also said to help heal skin.
Foreo’s UK General Manager Rachael Nsofor said: “House of Fraser is a British institution and we are thrilled that our products are now going to be even more widely available for our customers.
“With the launch into give flagship stores as well as online, Foreo devices can be found in House of Fraser Kent, Bristol, Guildford, London and Sheffield immediately, as well as Norwich later this year.”
However, the retailer is set to keep 31 of its department stores open across the UK as it continues to restructure its strategy to be competitive.
Despite its scheduled UK store closures, the retailer plans to open 30 stores in China as part of its three year expansion strategy.
Nsofor continued: “It’s an exciting time for the brand as we continue to lead the market and with new launches about the revealed this autumn, we will continue to bring high-tech solutions to improve the regimes of our consumers everywhere.”
The UFO device has received “tremendous growth” globally across its travel retail sectors since its launch in April this year and anticipates sales of US$125bn by 2023.
