Swiss perfume and taste company Firmenich has named Ilaria Resta as the new President of its Perfumery and Ingredients organisation.
Resta previously headed up the company’s Perfumery division, and joined the business in 2020.
Gilbert Ghostine, CEO of Firmenich, said Resta pioneered a “wide array of innovations” to lead the category into new markets during her tenure.
Amaury Roquette has also been appointed as Senior VP of Ingredients.
“Together with Amaury, who has an unparalleled understanding of both Perfumery and our Ingredients business, while embracing our group values for over a decade, they will take the business to new heights,” added Ghostine.
Roquette will run end-to-end activities of the group’s Ingredients business, and succeeds Boet Brinkgreve.
Roquette initially joined Firmenich’s Strategic Development team in 2009.
He was then promoted to Global Head of Sales for Ingredients, and in 2017 moved into Perfumery Fine Fragrance as VP of Sales and Marketing in Europe.
"I am delighted to take on this thrilling new challenge", said Roquette.
“I am looking forward to further strengthening the connection between our perfumery and ingredients activities, and bolstering our combined offers.
