CurrentBody is launching its first UK bricks-and-mortar clinic to ramp up its brand awareness to new levels.
The ‘CurrentBody Skin: The Clinic’ will merge advanced treatments with the brand’s at-home beauty devices – LED face masks and laser hair removal and radiofrequency handheld devices – in what it calls ‘a world-first beauty concept’.
The 2,837sqft flagship in Cheshire opens this month and spans three floors, offering a range of advanced aesthetic treatments delivered by medically trained, GMC and NMC registered professionals.
Treatments include anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, skin boosters, polynucleotides, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, IV drips, health and hormone testing, and vitamin boosters.
CurrentBody’s list of devices used in-treatment include LED Light Therapy Mask Series 1 and Series 2, LED Hair Growth Helmet and RF Radio Frequency Skin Tightening Device.
“CurrentBody originated in 2009 and the initial vision was to develop home-use devices that were essentially miniaturised versions of the advanced technologies typically used in professional clinics,” CurrentBody CEO Laurence Newman told Cosmetics Business.
