UV rays are always present — they can penetrate clouds and windows. UVA rays are the primary culprits behind premature ageing, while UVB rays cause sunburn and damage to the outer layers of the skin.
As a daily minimum, a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 should be applied every morning, regardless of season or weather.
