Andrés Pagés
Eurofragance, the specialised fragrance design and creation company, has appointed Andrés Pagés to the position of General Manager for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.
Pagés is a former Internal Flavors & Fragrances executive (IFF). His designation will give new drive to this region, which gave very good results in 2016.
This area of the world is one of the company’s main areas of expansion where Eurofragance has got a production plant, located in Mexico City, that acts as an operational base for the Latin American market.
In his new position, Andrés Pagés will be responsible for boosting Eurofragance’s presence and results in the area.
The company currently has clients in Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Costa Rica, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic.
He will also continue the company’s plan to improve the installations and productive capacity. Fine Fragrances, Personal Care, Fabric Care and Home Care are Eurofragance’s main areas of activity in this region, although the first of these is the most important.
Andrés Pagés is a chemical engineer who qualified at the University of La Salle (Mexico). He was awarded Master's degree in Business Administration at the Universidad de las Américas Puebla (UDLAP) in Mexico.
As regards his professional career, he has more than 30 years’ experience in the commercial area. He has also been responsible for the development and marketing of products and services for the chemical, food and fragrances industries.
Before joining Eurofragance as Mexico & Central America & Caribbean General Manager for Eurofragance, he was Commercial Director for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean at International Flavors & Fragrances.
He has also worked for Swiss perfume company Givaudan as an Account Manager for Mexico and Central America, and, on another occasion, for IFF as an Account Manager in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.
Since 2015, he has also been President of the National Association of Manufacturers of Aromatic Products (ANFPA).
