Revlon-owned beauty brand Elizabeth Arden has signed Chinese model Sui He as its Global Brand Ambassador.
Recognised as one of the top Asian models, He gained global status after breaking into the international scene as the first-ever Asian model to open an American designer’s show at Ralph Lauren’s Fall/Winter collection in 2011.
She is also the second ‘angel’ of Chinese descent to have appeared in the, now cancelled, Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
For Elizabeth Arden, He will be the frontwoman for its strategic expansion in Asian beauty markets, appearing in brand campaigns and bringing awareness of the brand’s skin care franchises to the fore.
“I am a beauty lover at heart and have always been a fan of the Elizabeth Arden brand,” said He.
“The brand resembles a grace and timeless style that I have always admired along with high-quality and beautiful products that make women feel empowered.
“I am proud to partner with such a heritage brand and am excited to share their innovations and rich history with women everywhere.”
Since her breakthrough appearance for Ralph Lauren, the 31-year-old has walked for Chanel, Tom Ford, Dior, Alexander McQueen and Kenzo brands.
In her beauty career, she has served as beauty ambassador for Shiseido and Tom Ford Beauty.
“Sui’s effortless sophistication and natural beauty leaves the world enamored,” said Ava Huang, Global General Manager for Elizabeth Arden.
“Her confidence and drive coupled with her warmth and intelligence align seamlessly with Elizabeth Arden’s brand values, making her the perfect woman to represent the brand continuing to uphold our founder’s legacy of empowering women and providing them with luxurious, high-performing innovation.”
