Dr Brandt has announced the launch of a new skin care product that offers consumers the look of contouring without using any make-up. The launch is supported with a new social media campaign and a tutorial video by Kristofer Buckle.
The Needles No More 3D Filler Mask is said to add volume and thickness to thinning skin. The formula is designed to combat diminishing levels of collagen, leaving the face looking plumped, firm and reshaped.
In the clip, renowned make-up artist Buckle uses the mask to volumise and fill facial contours, creating a contoured effect which he enhances with make-up. Buckle also illustrates how light reflected on the convex and concave areas of the face can highlight the signs of ageing and gives tips for changing the way light reflects off the face for a more youthful look.
The masks are designed to be applied in an inverted triangle from the chin up to the cheekbones and left on for an intensive treatment. Daily use is recommended.
The brand is also launching a social media campaign to highlight the need for research, education and advocacy for mental health services. For each Instagram post tagged @DrBrand, the brand will contact $1 towards The Dr Brandt Foundation – a charity set up in the company founder’s memory to combat depression and suicide. A percentage of sales from all Dr Brandt products are also donated to the foundation.
