Domestic abuse survivors in the US are being given enhanced support thanks to a new partnership announced by The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS).

Through a programme called FACE TO FACE, cosmetic surgeons are providing treatment to repair injuries of the face, head and neck, while non-profit Break the Silence Foundation is providing counselling
