Football legend David Beckham has launched a new perfume range.
Called The Collection, it will be available at US department store chain JCPenney starting September 2023 and in retailers across the US January 2024.
It features a trio of epds inspired by Beckham’s personal memories from his travels with close friends and family.
This includes Infinite Aqua, which features aromatic and watery notes that evoke the imagery of a drive along the Pacific Coast highway.
Aromatic Greens, meanwhile, is a woody green fragrance that has been designed to create a sense of tranquillity for the wearer.
The lineis rounded off with Refined Woods, which offers oriental woody, warm and sensual scent notes.
“I’ve been fortunate to work with many incredible perfumeries from around the world over the past 15 years and this fragrance range combines their knowledge with my vision to create products that truly stand the test of time,” said Beckham.
To celebrate the launch of The Collection, Beckham will make a guest appearance at the JCPenney in Roosevelt Field Shopping Center, New York, on 12 October.
The fragrance brand is licensed by Coty, which has been a partner to the UK football legend for the past 15 years.
“David, together with the Coty fragrance experts and the globally recognized perfumers Ane Ayo, Amandine Clerc-Marie and Alexandra Carlin, pushed the boundaries to create a collection of exceptional scents that elevate the art and craft of fragrance for a truly transportive experience,” said Stefano Curti, Chief Brands Officer, Consumer Beauty at Coty.
Beckham’s new launch comes at the same time as Victoria Beckham Beauty has officially announced a trio of upcoming fragrances.
The perfumes include Portofino ' 97, which features notes of bergamot and black pepper, and Suite 302, composed of rose centifolia and midnight violet.
San Ysidro Drive rounds off the set, which has been formulated with rose absolute, saffron flower and agarwood.
The fragrances are available for preorder now through the Victoria Beckham Beauty brand’s main website.
