Damage limitation from Aveda
The new treatment, described as a daily ‘vitamin boost’ for damaged hair by vp global creative director, Antoinette Beenders, contains a blend of botanicals including organically derived quinoa protein, sustainably sourced from Peru, which is said to penetrate the hair shaft to help facilitate repair.
Wheat protein meanwhile helps protect against thermal damage during heat styling, while soy-derived oil helps to detangle hair and protect it from breakage while combing. Certified organic essential oils of bergamot, ylang ylang and mandarin meanwhile provide an uplifting aroma.
For best results, Beenders encourages consumers to apply the leave-in product to damp hair before styling.
