The 57th edition concludes with extremely positive results, confirming the event’s strategic role for the global cosmetics industry, even within a complex international landscape

The 57th edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna has successfully come to a close, once again confirming its status as a must-attend event for the global cosmetics industry. With over 255,000 professionals from more than 150 countries and 3,104 companies from 68 countries, representing over 10,000 brands, the exhibition recorded extremely positive results, highlighting the strength and resilience of the beauty sector.

For four days, Bologna established itself as an international hub for beauty, welcoming a highly qualified global community of buyers, distributors, retailers, and professional
operators. The high quality of visitors, combined with strong international attendance, confirmed the effectiveness of the incoming programs and matchmaking tools, which facilitated targeted meetings and concrete business opportunities across the entire supply chain. Key industry players returned to Cosmoprof to develop new partnerships, strengthen established relationships, and identify emerging trends.

A high-value edition for the industry

Cosmoprof continues to serve as a leading platform for the sector, fostering connections, business opportunities, and growth in global markets, while contributing tangibly to the development and strengthening of the entire cosmetics supply chain.

“The beauty sector continues to demonstrate an extraordinary capacity for resilience, even in a complex and constantly evolving geopolitical context, confirming its solidity and dynamism on a global scale,” stated Enrico Zannini, General Manager of BolognaFiere Cosmoprof.

“Within this scenario, Cosmoprof once again stands out as a privileged observatory of the industry’s transformations: an increasingly international event, capable of attracting a highly
qualified and profiled audience and of recording significant participation from international operators coming from strategic markets.

The results of this edition highlight how the cosmetics industry is able to respond promptly to challenges, maintaining high levels of innovation, competitiveness, and networking
capability. This is a trend we already observed during the Covid period and which is now further confirmed: even in the most complex moments, the beauty sector distinguishes itself
through its resilience and its strong international vocation.”

The support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ITA – Italian Trade Agency also proved fundamental for the 2026 edition, contributing to
the presence of highly profiled buyer delegations from key markets and further strengthening the event’s international positioning.

The collaboration with Cosmetica Italia – the Personal Care Association – also continues, enhancing the excellence of the Italian supply chain within an increasingly competitive and
dynamic global context.

A 360° experience across education, shows and innovation

Strong participation was also recorded across the rich content program that animated the four days of the exhibition. International experts, opinion leaders, media representatives, and
content creators from around the world took part in a comprehensive schedule of roundtables, masterclasses, educational sessions, and shows, offering visitors a complete
and immersive experience into the world of beauty.

Cosmoprof confirmed its role not only as a business platform, but also as a privileged environment for exchange and professional development, capable of anticipating market evolutions and bringing together all stakeholders across the supply chain. Innovation, sustainability, artificial intelligence, and evolving consumer habits emerged among the key themes, outlining the future development trajectories of the sector. The next edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna will take place from March 18 to 21, 2027, with new initiatives and solutions increasingly focused on supporting the evolution of the global cosmetics industry.
