If we look at any end-of-year lists of the most searched for cosmetic ingredients, collagen will always be found near the top. 

Widely used in both topical formulations and ‘beautritional’ supplements, collagen is well known for its anti-ageing properties, reducing fine lines and wrinkles. 

The collagen supplement market is growing and is currently estimated to be worth more than US$2bn.
