Clinique has named US actress and producer Marsai Martin as its latest ambassador and first-ever Partner Producer.
In the newly created role, the 18-year-old Black-ish star will partner with the brand across multiple creative projects, including storytelling and photography roles, in a bid to engage the Estée Lauder-owned brand’s Gen Z consumers.
Clinique hopes that Martin’s experience and creative vision will enable it to reach and connect with a wider range of beauty fans, according to the brand.
"We are thrilled to welcome Marsai as a Clinique brand ambassador and first-ever Partner Producer,” said Michelle Freyre, President, Global Brands at Clinique and Origins.
“Her confidence and creative intellect truly embodies Clinique's brand values.
“We are impressed by her brave conversations, achievements, and the impact she has made as an actress, producer, and philanthropist and look forward to collaborating with her to incorporate her vision of modern beauty and culture into Clinique storytelling.”

Who is Marsai Martin?
Martin landed her breakthrough role as Diane Johnson in US sitcom Black-ish in 2014 when she was ten years old, winning her a series of award nominations and critical acclaim.
She went on to make history when she became the youngest person ever to produce a movie at 13 years old – 2019 comedy Little – and also founded her own production company Genius Productions.
Her role with Clinique comes after she was tapped as the face of cosmetics brand Make Up For Ever’s HD Skin Foundation last year.
"I'm so excited to join Clinique as a brand ambassador and Partner Producer," added Martin.
"It's no secret how much I love skin care, and it's such an honour to partner with an iconic beauty brand who takes pride in creating safe formulas for all skin types.
“I look forward to creating magic that showcases the Clinique mission with a new vibe."
Martin’s debut social media campaigns for Clinique will launch this summer.
