Charlotte Tilbury has signed British actress Lily James as the face of its first ever campaign for its hero Magic Cream moisturiser.
The Emmy-nominated star of Pam and Tommy will lead the campaign launching Charlotte Tilbury’s new dedicated skin care Instagram account, which will also showcase products and how-to content targeted at the luxury brand’s skin care community.
She will share the story and science behind the best selling cream alongside skin care experts, celebrity aesthetician Georgia Louise Vassanelli and skin care doctor Dr Ewoma Ukeleghe.
James joins Kate Moss and Phoebe Dyvenor as Charlotte Tilbury ambassadors
The 33-year-old Cinderella star described the experience as a “dream come true”, saying: “Ever since Charlotte gave me a pot of her iconic Magic Cream, I have been obsessed – I can’t live without it!
“I’m always on the go and when I have hectic days on set wearing heavy makeup and not getting much sleep, my skin really suffers.
“Charlotte’s Magic Cream is the only moisturiser I can rely on to keep my skin feeling hydrated, plump and smooth – it gives me instant results and that famous red-carpet ready glow!”
James is the latest famous face to join the brand – which recently opened its first UK store outside of London – following the likes of supermodel Kate Moss and Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor.
Since landing her breakthrough role in ITV drama Downton Abbey in 2012, James has gone on to enjoy success starring in films including Baby Driver, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again and The Dig.
No stranger to the world of beauty and fashion, she has previously fronted campaigns for Burberry’s Black fragrance and make-up line, as well as starring in fashion and beauty label Versace’s fall 2022 advertising campaign.
