CeraVe has tapped influencer Madeline Argy for a new campaign that spotlights the dermatological brand’s latest launch, Blemish Barrier Patches.
The social media star and podcaster is known for her unfiltered videos, amassing nearly ten million followers on TikTok, and was named on TIME magazine’s TIME100 Creators List.
Argy will appear in digital and social content for the L’Oréal-owned brand around unwanted breakouts and their impact, along with how to treat them with CeraVe’s new patches.
Board-certified dermatologists will also feature in the content emphasising the importance of “not only covering pimples, but treating them to prevent both acne marks and future breakouts”, CeraVe said in a company statement.
Talking about the campaign, Argy said: "As someone who has openly struggled with acne, it is frustrating to see so many mixed messages about skin care, and I really look for brands and products that have true dermatologist expertise.
“That is why I have trusted and used CeraVe for years.
“When you are dealing with breakouts, you can feel desperate to find something that really works, so I am grateful to collaborate with a brand that has truly made a difference for my own skin.”
As well as preventing picking, which can lead to post-acne marks, CeraVe’s Blemish Barrier Patches contain an advanced formula infused with niacinamide and the brand’s signature blend of three ceramides to protect the skin barrier.
“As a board-certified dermatologist, I confidently recommend CeraVe's Blemish Barrier Patches to my patients struggling with breakouts," said board-certified dermatologist Dr Alecia Folkes.
“From a professional standpoint, what is revolutionary about these patches is their advanced formulation: they ingeniously combine three skin-identical ceramides and niacinamide.
“This ensures blemishes are treated effectively without disrupting the skin barrier, offering my patients a gentle yet powerful option for managing breakouts."
